I have a suggestion for improving the "Export Player Voice" feature, based on a real editing workflow issue.
🔧 Problem
Currently, when exporting a player's voice using the "Export Player Voice" option, the resulting .wav file contains all of the player's voice lines in one continuous sequence – without any pauses or silence between them. This makes it very difficult to align the voice file with the gameplay video, especially when editing full match recordings.
To place the player's voice into the correct moments in the gameplay video, I have to manually:
-Cut the .wav file into multiple pieces
-Try to find where each voice line happened in the match
-Align and insert each clip manually during video editing
This is extremely time-consuming when editing full matches.
✅ Suggested Feature
Please consider adding an option to export the player voice as a full-length .wav file, where:
-The file duration matches the entire length of the match/demo
-The player's voice clips are inserted at the exact moments they were spoken in the match
-The rest of the file is silent whenever the player was not speaking
This would allow us to:
-Sync the voice file once with the match footage
-Avoid manual splitting and alignment of voice clips
🧩 Possible Implementation
The exported .wav could be generated with:
-Full match duration (e.g. 30 minutes)
-Player's voice clips inserted at proper timestamps
Even an optional toggle like:
"🔲 Export voice with match duration and original timing"
...would make a huge difference!
Thanks again for your work – I believe many content creators and editors would benefit from this feature.
