Timeouts flushing

Hi,
I'm not sure this is a bug or a misusage of the package on our end. We are using prom_ex in our project, and we noticed a spike in errors coming from this line because it hits the timeout of 10s. I'm not very familiar with the internals of the library as to be able to diagnose the issue, so I'd appreciate any pointers in understanding what the issue might be.

I saw a similar "PromEx.ETSCronFlusher" error in one project recently and it was caused by lock contention in App.PromEx.Metrics_dist ETS table and switching to Peep (striped) storage adapter fixed it (with one caveat: #261).
