Problem Upgrading from OpenSUSE Tumbleweed Repo

I have a problem upgrading from the OpenSUSE Tumbleweed Repo. The error is:

Solution 2: keep obsolete albert-33.0.1-731.74.x86_64
Solution 3: break albert-34.0.2-737.3.i586 by ignoring some of its dependencies

what exactly is a distrubution upgrade? afaik tumbleweed is a rolling release.

rpm -qi albert and rpm -qi qcoro-qt6 please.

I meant rollover with:

zypper refresh&&zypper dup

Which is the normal way of updating a Tumbleweed system.

It looks like SUSE have separate it into different packages. This is no qcoro-qt6, but:

libQCoro6Core0
libQCoro6DBus0
libQCoro6Network0
libQCoro6Qml0
libQCoro6Quick0
libQCoro6WebSockets0
qcoro-qt6-devel

I downloaded a Redhat qcoro-qt6 rpm for comparison and indeed they are the some files as those in the packages that I have mentioned. It looks like you might have to change the require since core package (libQCoro6Core0) now provides:

libQCoro6Core.so.0()(64bit)
libQCoro6Core0 = 0.12.0-1.5
libQCoro6Core0(x86-64) = 0.12.0-1.5

I am a long time user of Albert and used to compile it manually. Now I am using your obs repo (https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/manuelschneid3r/openSUSE_Tumbleweed/) for over a year with no problems.

shouldnt this package be available on your system?

Actually I want to pull the entire qcoro package because plugins may make use of whatever they need.

Factory is very unstable- it is where things land before going into Tumbleweed. Anyway, I checked that repo and there is only a src.rpm.

I selected tumbleweed in the package search. I am not really experienced with the suse ecosystem. I thought if I can find it there it actually is in the distribution. That's at least the case for arch Ubuntu and Fedora. I'm confused. I think it should not even build if the package is not there but actually it does https://build.opensuse.org/projects/home:manuelschneid3r/packages/albert/repositories/openSUSE_Tumbleweed/binaries

Because it was a Requires and not a BuildRequires. Out of curiousity, I download your src.rpm and indeed it will build but not install because of the "Requires qcoro-qt6". I then changed

Requires: qcoro-qt6

in the spec file to

Requires: libQCoro6Core0

Rebuild it and it installed without error.

Once in a while one will encounter error in a rolling distro.

May it be the case that this is a packaging bug of qcoro? I mean there is qcoro-qt6-devel so I'd assume that qcoro-qt6 is the runtime package.

No, unlike Redhat, where all the libraries are in 1 package (qcoro-qt), they are separated out into these rpm's:

libQCoro6Core0
libQCoro6DBus0
libQCoro6Network0
libQCoro6Qml0
libQCoro6Quick0
libQCoro6WebSockets0

Maybe there was a metapackage that mistakenly got dropped.
