Current Behavior

Albert won't show up passed the "allow data collection" prompt, even after rm -r ~/config/albert to try and reset things.

Expected Behavior

Albert to launch fully.

Anything else?

Albert launched and I was able to configure it earlier today. It wouldn't launch after sleep. So I did an update and rebooted and the issue persisted.

I tried the keyboard shortcut and nothing shows up. Trying again has Albert then tell me an instance is already running (which I have to kill manually). Running from the command line tells me about QDBusTrayIcon not working and hotkeys not working and then it sits there with nothing showing (I ctrl-C it to stop it).

Hi everyone, I also have the same problem under Gnome with a fresh Fedora 43 installation. A workaround for the problem is to add a custom system shortcut which starts the command albert show as you can see in the picture. A disadvantage of this approach is that the occuring bar is completly centered and not a little bit higher than it normally would, but otherwise everything works as expected under wayland.

Another weird thing i've observed is that sometimes shortcuts are not supported within the UI.

Edit: For the shortcut above to work, it needs to be ensured that albert is starting at system start.
