Add authentication only for frontend

Rather if authentication is enabled only for frontend ( 'go' ) that would be great

Hi @pranaysahith, just to check what your are looking for, you want a new variable like ENABLE_AUTH_ONLY_UI=true so that you cannot access the UI without authentication but you can still access the api to query the keys and get a URL?

There are also api endpoints that allow you to search through the keys so should that be behind auth as well?

hi @alexbrazier, yes adding a new variable makes sense. Authentication should be enabled for UI as well as the APIs with PUT/POST endpoints. All GET endpoints doesn't need authentication which allows to use shortened URLs without authentication. Thank you so much for building this!

Sounds good. This isn't something I'm able to look into adding right now but I'll keep the issue open and happy to accept a PR for it.

Concrete Use-Case:

Users login to create short links which they then can provide to 3rd party e.g. customers. 3rd party should be able to visit the generated link without authentication.
