On my ubuntu 22.04, I just spent almost 1 hour trying to install dependencies, dependencies of the dependencies, compile, install and fail!
Finally I used the flatpak version hoping the horror to be over, just to realize it cannot access other partitions #327 >_>
Would it be possible to provide an AppImage which will be largely advantageous:
- A self-contained AppImage runs on most Linux distributions without extra setup.
- It bundles all dependencies, avoiding version conflicts.
- It is portable and can be used without installation.
It is a shame that such a very nice and handy app would be such a pain to just install which would limit its adoption.
Thank you.
