Convert Mermaid to JSON Canvas

Thank you for creating such an excellent library.
I believe it would be incredibly convenient if there were a feature to reverse convert Mermaid into a JSON Canvas.

That would be a fun idea! I briefly explored this a while back. Since Mermaid has so many features (timelines, charts, sequence diagrams, etc.), it might work better as its own library - but I honestly haven't thought too much about what makes the most sense yet.

If there's significant interest from others here, I'd be happy to explore this further. Let me know your use cases and requirements.
