is there any links out there to get used to Amen?
i got it running but its not super straight forward to understand, would be awesome if there are more examples out there or even tutorials.

I'm working on other projects for the next little bit, so I don't have time to add any more examples - I assume you've seen the examples that we do have, here: https://github.com/algorithmic-music-exploration/amen/tree/master/examples.

what is test_echo_nest_converter.py in the test folder? is there an actual way of porting the remix scripts to amen ?
i would be really excited to run this one

Hello!

So echo_nest_converter.py is a tool that turns an Amen Audio object into Remix-style JSON, so it can be used by the JavaScript version of Amen. It does not port Remix scripts to Amen. To the best of my knowledge, there's no easy way to port things over. Sorry!

Video stuff is a very long ways off, also sorry! If you want to just extract audio from video, you could look at ffmpeg, avconv, and youtube-dl.
