GPU recommendation
This primarily depends on your budget. If you are looking for a used/new GPU, the price range is ~60$-600$.
- The DepthMap node requires a minimum Nvidia Compute Capability version is 2.0.
- If you want to use GPU Feature Extraction the minimum Compute Capability version is 5.2.
You can find a list with Compute Capability versions and Nvidia Models here

If money is an issue, one of the cheapest and oldest supported graphics cards would be the GeForce GTX 460 with 1GB, 384 Cuda cores and Compute Capability 2.1 from 2011. However I would not go for such an old GPU if you don´t have to. (Note: We did not personally test such old GPUs for compatibility. Also the computation time will me longer than with a newer GPU)
"Some good cheaper options could be the GTX 650, 660, 750, 760, 950, 960, which should give acceptable performance. While the 500 series meets the minimum CUDA compute capability, it's no longer supported by the latest Nvidia drivers. The 600 series is still fully supported, but who knows for how much longer." https://github.com/alicevision/meshroom/issues/932#issuecomment-640994597
Older models may also have TDR issues

For ~150$ one can get a still decent NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti (released in 2016) with 4GB, 768 Cuda cores and Compute Capability 6.1 for example) or the better GTX 1060 (used $120-140).
The following GPUs have been tested by various users and are known to work with Meshroom. This list is not complete.
GeForce 840M, 2x GeForce GTX 560 Ti, GeForce GTX 970, GeForce GTX 980, GeForce GTX 1050Ti, GeForce GTX 1060, GeForce GTX 1070, ...
