Help for a noob? Yi Home 1080p - trying to install yi-hack-v5 - boot loop

Hello, is this hack still supported/active? Is there a "how to" I'm missing somewhere? I have created the FAT32 format SD, the camera blinks and clicks forever. it creates a log file called: log_no_wifi_dev.tar.gz. I have added both a wpa_supplicant.conf and a static_ip.conf file in the root of the SD card... but it seems like I'm stuck in endless boot loop. Ultimately, I would like to use these cameras with my Home Assistant setup. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I guess its right to ask about how active is this project. My focus is on other things and that includes the family. If people submit their pull requests, I will be happy to review, create another version, and test if needed.
