Getting an Ada development system setup without using Alire.

Is there a way to install an Ada compiler into a GNATSTUIO install without have to use Alire to do my development? There seems to be a lot of overhead need to set things up and all I want is the equivalent of gnatstudio and gnat compiler all in one place like the community version did years back.

GNAT Studio only requires to have GNAT in the PATH when it's launched. This means you can alr install the GNAT version you want where you want it to be (--prefix switch), add that you your path and then launch GNAT Studio.

GNAT Studio is not available for installation from Alire though.

I would suggest to install gprbuild also.
