Alire fails due to sync issue

I want to update to steup-alire@v4 in my workflow.
However, the build now fails:

Since this is not related to my crate, but to its dependencies, do I correctly assume that it is not my fault?

Same behaviour is observed with version 3.

Maybe it is related to alire-project/alire#1762

It's likely related to that.

Just so I have a clear picture: what have you exactly changed that worked before and doesn't after the change?

I went from
setup-alire@v1
to
setup-alire@v4.

But indeed the problem might be in alire and not in setup-alire.
