Repo is heavily dependent on AI2's cluster

It'll be helpful if the code could be written in a cluster-agnostic way. I'm having to rewire a lot of things because I don't use beaker, or any of these clusters: ai2/jupiter, ai2/ceres, ai2/titan

Feel free to submit a PR that will detangle some of the Ai2 stuff! Probably good to have a PR that will allow switching beaker for slurm and another that will put Ai2 cluster logic behind a flag. Note that local debug script should work fine not on ai2 infra.
