How to enable plugins?

I am using the latest desktop version of Altair GraphQL Client. I am trying to install altair-graphql-plugin-graphql-explorer. I don't understand how to enable plugin functionality.

I expected to see the plugin button on the lower left side of the screen as shown here:

I tried enabling experimental features but that didn't help. What am I missing?

You add the plugins by name to the list in the settings. The plugins UI was removed sometime ago

@imolorhe thanks the reply, that makes sense. But I am still confused where in the settings you add the plugins. I don't see any places to define plugin names.

I guess it would be helpful to update the docs (https://altairgraphql.dev/docs/plugins/popular-plugins.html).

Do I download the plugin myself from NPM manually? Do I simply npm install? And then where do I specify in the settings the name of the plugin?

Ok, I think I see. In advanced mode I can manually populate the plugin.list field.

Yes that's it. You also also see it in the simple mode as well.

Yeah the doc needs to be updated to reflect this better. Feel free to create an issue to that effect.
