Bug: Game freezes after death

What happened?

I had to exit the game and restart after an OOB softlock in the room right before Butterfly Matriarch. After reloading the save file, I received a number of items that had already been received on that save slot. After that, every time I died, the game would not play the death music, and then it would freeze. I can provide the save file if necessary, but I haven't tried to reproduce the result from scratch.

What were the expected results?

The game should play the death music and respawn me at the last-used save point instead of freezing.

What version is this on? This sounds suspiciously like #10

Simmilar issue here. Just obtained "Devil's Due" with an "Power Seal" in the "Underworld", then died being crunched by a wall. (I wanted to dodge it, with dropping down a Platform, maybe this is related.

I also installed it via Archipelago, not more than 2 days ago.

Edit: Restarting did not fix it.

Edit 2: I guess, it happens every time you die.

Edit 3: I'll provide basically anything, just ask :D
