Bug: Emerald Golem is invisible

What happened?

After dying to the Emerald Golem it will be invisible until quitting to the title screen and reloading the save.

What were the expected results?

The Golem should be visible.

Is this reproducible?

It happened every time I fought it, but I don't have any specific steps. I did enter from Quillshroom Marsh

Technically a bug but I've purposefully left it alone, because it means you can just leave and proceed into Howling Grotto without defeating it, which is in logic.
