• To Test User Interactions
• To verify the functionality of the UI components to provide the expected results
• To provide synchronization of test actions with the UI component of the android app
• To Implement Espresso framework to detects when the main thread is idle
• To check that the target app returns the correct UI output in response to user interactions in the app’s activities
