I've run into a problem a few times where canoeble ways are well parsed/identified by waterwaymap.org, but are not properly rendered.
For example looking here as of today (2025-01-31). we can see that there is a bit (657km) connected set of canoe-able ways, but the ways through Alice Lake do not show up.
Looking at overpass, we can see that those ways are properly tagged before the effective data date (which we could infer already as it's unlikely to have two 657km sets of canoeable ways in the same area...)
When I've encountered this in the past, editing the geometry of the ways solves the problem on the next import. Obviously something that falls into the minor annoyance rather than life or death category.
Cheers,
Sean
P.S. Thanks for waterwaymap.org it's great.
