The package is not available in Amazon Linux 2. It is packaged for EPEL at https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/mongo-c-driver.

This is an optional dependency of syslog-ng, and would be useful for #639.

I imagine this would be useful for use with https://aws.amazon.com/documentdb/ - but I am not a MongoDB ecosystem expert.
