Unable to install Ryzen AI on linux

Hi, I am using AMD 8700G CPU which has an iGPU and NPU.

System Specs:
OS: Gentoo Linux - Kernel 6.14 with AMDXDNA driver built
CPU: AMD 8700G
RAM: 64 GB
Ryzen AI Version: 1.4

When I try to install the Ryzen AI 1.4 the errors I get are as under:

1. The specs page state that it can get installed with Python version > 3.10. The installer script only checks for exact 3.10 version and gives an error. I have version 3.12. I had to manually edit the install script to do away with this check.

2. Post the edit to the install script, if one tries to install the Ryzen AI, I get the below error and I am unable to decode the same.

Thanks for sharing this.
Modifying installer script to remove Python 3.10 check will lead to future error while building python wheel files.
Currently we are only supporting python 3.10. So, we recommend installing RyzenAI software using Python 3.10 version.

The default Python version in Ubuntu 24.04 is 3.12, and the RyzenAI's system requirement specifies Ubuntu 24.04. Why would we need to use the older Python 3.10 instead of the pre-installed Python 3.12? This is a bit confusing.

I's like to know how you got access to the software -- the link goes to an AMD account page and when i fill it out it says I don't meet "export criteria". And there's no way to contact AMD or get help from them in any way.
