A question about fitting the board

Hello,

I received a fully built, working SMD500+ from my friend and trying to build myself a modern A500+ with it. The problem is, the board does not fit into the original metal shielding of A500+. Even without the shielding, some of the screw holes does not align with the bottom plastic part (Original A500+). What could be the problem?
