This is a bit complicated. Using ID or name both have their pros and cons. However, names can conflict between nodes so I opted for id.
Dozzle automatically redirects to new containers so this should not be an issue.
I think that's actually more confusing, and probably not what Dozzle should do. If the bookmark is for something that doesn't exists anymore then it's better to be explicit. Otherwise, Dozzle has no idea if it was an old container that doesn't exist anymore. You can already redirect with name though https://dozzle.dev/guide/faq#we-have-tools-that-use-dozzle-when-a-new-container-is-created-how-can-i-get-a-direct-link-to-a-container-by-name There is no single right way though. At this point it would be too much work to use names any way. |

When you select a container, you get the URL like ".../container/d787f21fae1e"
The issue with container id in URL is that it changes after the container restart, so my suggestion is to use the
container_namewhen it's set (falling back to the id)If you have names set, you may share/bookmark these URLs
