need help

hi i'm new in as and swf files . I have another repo that I need to convert to swf and I found someone talking about your repo so I decided to ask for help . I downloaded Flash Develop and some versions of SDK but every time I try to compile to swf file I get errors ( I have the swf from another guy but its connected to his server . even when I change ip adress from config I don't know how to connect that server to my client to make it work )

If you're trying to use mapgen2, I would recommend switching to the HTML5 version. https://www.redblobgames.com/maps/mapgen2/

There used to be multiple ways to compile AS files to SWF. I think they are all dead now. If you're getting errors you'll have to fix them one by one. I have never used Flash Develop and don't know what errors you're getting with it. I don't know how to fix errors with someone else's project.

I have used mxmlc for my project. The specific command is in the README. If you have errors with mxmlc run on mapgen2, let me know what they are. I might be able to help fix errors with my project.
