Feature description
Futo released their new open source casting protocol, FCast: https://fcast.org/
To support its development and introduce it to more people it would be really cool if their SDk could be implemented in a patch to make FCast available in YouTube.
Motivation
- To support the development of FCast and make it heard among the community.
- Streaming content over the network using an open source protocol.
- No more dependency on a closed source protocol and more freedom on the software we use
- Often new projects quickly get pushed in the background after the initial launch. That's why it's important to support FCast and it's growing to make it publicly available to many people so they can start going away from big tech by using FOSS.
