Bug: Open source project showcase images have white background in dark mode

Bug Description:
Project images have white background which looks odd when dark mode is enabled.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Enable dark mode
2. View project showcase

Expected Behavior:
Images should blend well with dark theme
