Discovery

Product-discovery suite for the /.well-known/sustainability-data publisher/gateway. These documents are non-normative background; the normative wire contract is the Internet-Draft in ../internet-drafts/.

  1. Market scan — the carbon-software ecosystem, the common-denominator fields, and the missing disclosure surface.
  2. Opportunity assessment — drivers, why a well-known URI + gateway, differentiators, risks.
  3. Problem statement — the gap, who has it, what success looks like.
  4. Requirements — functional/non-functional, traced to draft clauses.
  5. PRD — personas, scope, milestones for the gateway product.
  6. Technical spec — the four-layer gateway implementation.
  7. Green Web Foundation / carbon.txt integration — deep research (companion to the draft) on carbon.txt, the carbon.txt hosted API, and CO2.js, and how the disclosure-uri field + publisher integrate them.
