<p>
Welcome! I'm Andrew, and I'm currently a college-grad Program Manager at Microsoft on their Surface Devices. In December 2019, I graduated with
simultaneous degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration from the <a class="underline-link">University of California, Berkeley</a>.
Consider this site a digital "hello" and portfolio of my path learning about product development over the past ~4 years.
</p>
<p>
Hardware products excite me because of how tangible the impact is. This interest was sparked when I was in high school, when I would eagerly watch and re-watch product release videos. I
then discovered the design and manufacturing videos for those products, which inspired me to study mechanical engineering.
In college, I spent summers exploring engineering and PM roles in product development. Being at UC Berkeley afforded me the opportunity to learn from leaders at 3 iconic global companies.
</p>
<p>
In 2017, I interned at <a class="underline-link">Tesla</a> as a mechanical engineer on the Model 3 🚗 during its launch.
In 2018, I interned at <a class="underline-link">Apple</a> as a product design engineering program manager on the ECG of Apple Watch Series 5 ⌚️.
Most recently, last summer, I interned at <a class="underline-link">Microsoft Surface</a> as a development program manager on a next-generation accessory for Surface Go 💻.
</p>
<p>
In 3 words, I'd describe myself as: a dreamer, a hard-worker, and a team player. I'm originally from Glendale, CA, am an identical twin, and am half-Armenian and half-Kiwi (New-Zealander). I love travelling and immersing myself in different cultures,
and my favorite food is Mediterranean :) I'm also interested in helping first-generation students succeed in the tech industry - and currently do that through an educational youtube channel called The Tech Twins (youtube.com/thetechtwins).

Using FEniCS, a Python package to solve FEM PDE's to solve the Navier-Stokes equation for an incompressible Newtonian fluid. I used a blood flow velocity field from
inside the human heart to compute the pressure distribution inside the heart.
