This will come in time; you can follow issue #261 to get updates. In short, I made some design decisions that require a significant refactor to preserve data in this way. The refactor is happening, and this feature will come after it, but it will take some time. I agree with you though. I started OpenHome because I don't want my data to be at the mercy of a company's servers. I just didn't realize how important it was to keep data as unchanged as possible |

Ok so I know it says in the read me that Pokemon altered by OpenHome can't be used in official competition or online and may result in a ban, but is there some way for OpenHome to host/transfer the Pokemon without altering them?
Where I'm coming from is that I like owning the things I buy and use, and having my entire living dex in a paywalled server that I don't own or control doesn't sit right with me. So it would be really great if I could use OpenHome as a self hosted alternative to Pokemon Home.
I don't know if it's possible, and I know Nintendo probably doesn't like it because they're greedy and overprotective of their intellectual property, but I'm not talking about pirating or cheating. I just want to own my Pokemon, and I think if there's any chance of that happening it would be this project.
