esp32 modbus interface

After the last app update broke the integration I started work on an esp32 modbus interface and have got it working.
I just don't have an integration for home assistant.

Any interest in adding support? Uses a basic web request for control.

I gather from your description this can't be used at the same time as the original wifi module?
I don't know modbus well but I assume it's an addressed protocol and you're using the same address as the original wifi module?

Yeah, it's designed to replace the original module.
Messages are sent from the control panel with a slave id, function code, data and crc.
The module just responds to those request messages.

There is a version of the code that will run with the original module still connected.
Under ArduinoControlLAN-AirconMonitor I have a copy of the code that's just used to proxy messages and output them to serial.

There might be a way to run both but I prefer having it disconnected from their cloud.
Part of my reason for this was the official module was randomly turning the system on, from what I could tell when the wifi signal was disrupted.

Thats Awesome. I have the same issue, the integration has stopped working for me, just doesn't show up after logging in. great that you're working on a local solution. Ive just started getting into a bit of modbus at my work still learning. keep up the good work.
