Braintree SDK Update for PayPal Plugin

Hi,

We received an email from PayPal regarding the Braintree SDK update. They clarified that SSL certificates need to be updated by June 30, 2025 (not January 30, 2025, as previously mentioned).

Additionally:

JavaScript and .NET SDKs do not require updates to their SSL certificates and can continue to be used without changes.
If unsure about the current server-side SDK version, PayPal recommends referring to their documentation: Check SDK Version.
Are you planning to update the Braintree SDK in the PayPal plugin? I also created a support ticket (AHD-22873) weeks ago, but we have not received any response yet.

There's another deadline on a feature update we have to have done by 4/1, so that's the one we're focused on now. This is a PayPal deadline where they'll start blocking payments.

Then we'll get the Braintree one done. I'm estimating around mid-April at the latest.

It won't take long, so we have plenty of time. We're on it!
