How to update OpenVPN binary

Hello,

We used the easyrsa script to install openvpn and configure our systems.
Unfortunately, now there is a new CVE and we need to update the openvpn binary.
I am sure I had already done this in the past but I absoutely do not remember the process.
Do i simply need to find a newer version of the openvpn binary and replace it ?
Or is there something more to this.
