Claude for OSS criterion Anki (ankitects/anki) AnkiDroid (ankidroid/Anki-Android)
500+ dependent repositories or 100+ dependent packages, aggregated across projects maintained by the applicant ✅ GitHub currently reports 561 dependent repositories and 25 dependent packages, so Anki appears to satisfy the 500-repository threshold by itself. Dependency graph ⚪ GitHub currently reports 19 dependent repositories and 5 dependent packages. This repository alone does not reach the threshold, although an applicant may aggregate multiple projects they maintain. Dependency graph
200,000+ combined monthly downloads across public package registries ❓ Not verified. Application-store downloads should not automatically be treated as package-registry downloads. This criterion is not needed because other routes appear to be met. ❓ Not verified. Application-store downloads should not automatically be treated as package-registry downloads. A repository maintained by the applicant had 20+ unique external contributors with merged PRs during the preceding 12 months ✅ Strong public evidence. For 2025-09-03 through 2026-09-03, at least 22 distinct merged-PR authors are displayed by GitHub as Contributor, separately from authors displayed as Member or Bot. Merged PR search ✅ Strong public evidence. For 2025-09-03 through 2026-09-03, at least 34 distinct authors had merged PRs carrying the project's New contributor label. Merged new-contributor PR search

License ✅ AnkiDroid uses GPL-3.0, with some components under AGPL-3.0 and LGPL-3.0. License information
Discretionary Ecosystem Impact Track 🟡 Potential fallback based on Anki's ecosystem impact, but probably unnecessary because objective Maintainer Track criteria already appear to be met. 🟡 Potential fallback based on AnkiDroid's ecosystem impact, but probably unnecessary because the community-builder criterion appears to be met.
