[FEATURE] Separate FadShot photo resolution from video recording resolution #293

Description

@dedtsss

Feature request

Please add a separate resolution setting for FadShot/photo capture during active video recording.

Current behavior

At the moment, the photo resolution appears to depend on the active video recording resolution. For example, if video is recorded in Full HD or another lower resolution, the captured photo also appears to be limited by that video resolution.

Requested behavior

If the Android camera pipeline and device hardware allow it, please separate these settings:

  • Video recording resolution: the user may choose a lower resolution such as Full HD to reduce storage usage, heat, and battery consumption during long recordings.
  • Photo/FadShot resolution: the user may choose a higher still-photo resolution, ideally the maximum available supported photo size.

Suggested setting options:

  • Photo resolution / FadShot resolution
  • Use video resolution as the default/current behavior
  • Highest available photo resolution
  • Manual choice from supported still-photo sizes

Expected result

The user can record video at a practical lower resolution while still capturing important still images at higher quality.

Notes

If this is limited by CameraX/Camera2, device hardware level, or active video capture session constraints, please expose the best available compatible options and document the limitation.
