SUMMARY

The community.vmware.vcenter_standard_key_provider module only lets you create KMS instances. In 7 & 8 you can configure VCSA to use a inbuilt native key provider

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The feature is required so that the internal service (NKP) can be enabled and used for encryption on vcenter for vtpm, vm encryption and vsan encryption. These can be enabled without the need for an external KMS
