Hello all,

I am trying to launch Mechanical on an HPC Cluster using SLURM and then execute a Python script.

ansys-mechanical — PyMechanical

However, when I run the above CLI command, I encountered the attached error.

For reference, I have included the Python script, the Slurm submission script, and the log file for your reference.

Do you have any insights into why the command fails or any recommendations for further investigation?

Hi @oliadag, Thanks for creating this issue.
PyMechnaical use ansys.tools.path to identify verison from installed directory. This package identify version from expected path like ansys_inc/v261/aisol/.workbench where version can be extracted from v261. But in your case I can see the path is /mnt/apps/prebuilt/ansys/2025R1/aisol/.workbench which is different from what ansys-tool-path looking.
