This is not really an issue/bug - when moving to autoapi, the way things are documented is different. In v0.10 you were using autosummary and autodoc most probably. Autoapi documents your entire API automatically, whereas with the previous implementation you had to specify which APIs to document

@RobPasMue we might have switched to Autoapi but it should not be exposing all the internal APIs. Is there a way to show only the APIs we want to document? Earlier in v0.10, the document was simple and easy to focus on what we need. Now it is polluted with a lots of APIs. It is very difficult to find what the actual API is.

There are some skip and ignore options that we could implement to specify the required APIs (or APIs to ignore). We can implement this to check how we can effectively do that using theme options.
