Description

Preflight Checklist

  • I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

Environment:

  • OS: Windows 10 Pro, Version 22H2, Build 19045.6466
  • Claude Desktop version: latest (freshly installed)

Bug 1: Toolbar overlapping window controls

The app's toolbar overlaps the Windows close/minimize/maximize buttons in the top-left corner, making them inaccessible.

Steps to reproduce: Open the app on Windows 10 Pro with any display scale setting.

Expected: Toolbar should not overlap system window controls.

Tried: Adjusting display resolution, changing scale settings, resizing the window, full uninstall and reinstall — none resolved the issue.

Bug 2: Focus issue in Code tab — Enter key opens file explorer instead of sending message

When typing a message in the Code tab and pressing Enter, focus shifts to the file explorer instead of sending the message.

Steps to reproduce: Open Code tab → type a message → press Enter.

Expected: Message is sent.

Tried: Clicking the text field first, Shift+Enter, Ctrl+Enter — none worked.

Bug 3: App crashes when switching from Cowork to Code tab

Every time I switch from the Cowork tab to the Code tab, the application closes and restarts automatically.

Steps to reproduce: Open Cowork tab → click on Code tab → app crashes and restarts.

Expected: Smooth tab switching without crash.

All three bugs persist after a full uninstall and reinstall of the app.
