The routines page documents a remaining-runs figure that I could not find in the UI.
Docs claim
Automate work with routines, under Usage and limits (text as of 2026-07-29):
Routines draw down subscription usage the same way interactive sessions do. In addition to the standard subscription limits, routines have a daily cap on how many runs can start per account. See your current consumption and remaining daily routine runs at claude.ai/code/routines or claude.ai/settings/usage.
The GitHub-trigger note makes a similar promise:
During the research preview, GitHub webhook events are subject to per-routine and per-account hourly caps. Events beyond the limit are dropped until the window resets. See your current limits at claude.ai/code/routines.
What I saw
On 2026-07-23, on a Max plan, claude.ai/code/routines showed the routine list and per-routine detail pages with no remaining-daily-runs figure and no cap value anywhere on the page. I did not find a counter for "runs remaining today", the daily cap itself, or the per-account hourly webhook limit.
The daily cap number is also not stated anywhere in the docs, so if the UI doesn't surface it there is currently no way to find out what it is, or how close to it you are, before runs start getting rejected.
Ask
One of these, whichever matches reality:
- If the counter exists and I missed it, the docs could say where on the page it appears — right now "see your current consumption and remaining daily routine runs at claude.ai/code/routines" reads as though it is on the routines page itself.
- If the counter only exists at
claude.ai/settings/usage, drop the routines-page half of the sentence, and likewise for the "see your current limits at claude.ai/code/routines" line under GitHub triggers.
- If neither surface shows it yet, mark it as not yet available rather than as something you can go look at today.

Caveat on the observation date: I confirmed the doc text today, but the UI check is from 2026-07-23 and I have not re-checked since — close this out if the counter shipped in the meantime.
