Although Skills already supports capabilities like Bash scripting, it still struggles to integrate effectively with today’s MCP ecosystem. MCP can connect to external tools, but when the number of available tools grows too large, the model suffers from context overload, which directly reduces accuracy and decision quality.
I strongly advocate that Skills should support progressive loading and invocation of MCP tools. By combining Skills’ progressive-loading orchestration with MCP’s external connectivity ecosystem, we can avoid tool-context bloat while unlocking broader tool access—achieving both higher reliability and better scalability for real-world agent workflows.
