Export a checkpoint in an archive file format (.zip, .gz, etc.)

The large file size of a checkpoint is problematic. It becomes hard to manage, and share the same.

**Describe the solution you'd like**
Archive the checkpoint in different file formats like
- **.zip**
- **.gz**
- more are welcome
