Save tables columns configuration

Hello,

Currently we have the possibility to customize the tables columns in Airflow which is very nice

However the settings is not stored, meaning we need to do it everytime it's not really usable.

I think we already have some features saved in the browser storage (ex: DAG layout).

It would be really useful to save the tables filters configuration as well.

I’d like to work on this issue.
My plan is to persist the table column configuration (visibility/order) in browser storage (localStorage), similar to how other UI preferences are handled, and restore it when the table is rendered.

Before I start coding:

• Is the scope limited to column visibility/order?
• Or should filters and sorting also be included?

Hello, I think sorting is already managed because when I sort and come back later I still see same sorting. So it would be the columns show/hide only I'd say, on every list that present this feature

Hi @matthieuauger , I’d like to work on this issue.
I plan to persist the column visibility configuration in localStorage and restore it on table render (similar to how DAG layout is stored).
I will limit scope to show/hide columns only, as suggested.
Please assign me if that sounds good.
