Migrate from Yarn 1

Yarn 1 is in maintenance mode since January 2020: https://dev.to/arcanis/introducing-yarn-2-4eh1#what-will-happen-to-the-legacy-codebase

Should we migrate to Yarn 4 or npm?

I'd say use npm (or maybe pnpm if npm is too slow). I migrated most of my projects to npm. It's one less dependency and makes it easier for people to get started contributing.
