[Feature Request]: Allow static schema to take the lead

What would you like to happen?

Currently, the static schema just injects it's values in the transform field definition.
I would like to have a checkbox to ignore the fields section and just use the schema. This will allow users to update their schemas without having to update the underlying transforsm everywhere.
