Use case

As an engineer, working as a part of a working group working on collecting metrics on First time pass rate I need to collect data on branch protection as we only need those checks for our metric.

Description

Hello!

We would like to add collection of branch protection rules as we would like to utilize the data to later visualize First time pass rate and we only need to parse Required checks.

We are not sure if we need it though, if we presume that the pipeline result is SUCCESS / FAILURE that does indicate that the required checks failed otherwise it would succeed even if optional failed?
