Threading inconsistency

When looking at https://lists.apache.org/list?dev@pekko.apache.org:2025-12 , opening [VOTE] Release Apache Pekko (Core) 2.0.0-M1-RC1 shows a thread of 5 messages.

However, when looking at individual messages, like https://lists.apache.org/thread/w98n335q42zvv1fmgt1p8x0sx5523typ, they do not find https://lists.apache.org/thread/jrzh887gvlh9ttgwtvsky1f88m65xk5m as their parent, and vice-versa.

I have no preference between those two interpretations (I haven't looked at the details but GMail also considers this thread broken), but it'd be good if it were consistent ;)

first off, the reason why the threading does not work in the single thread view is because the parent email does not exist.
Your initial vote email has the message-id CAHKPuKFSoRxnHcDfajrNMO5CmJp5DNg_giCKnVTnbaQWd9tvKQ@mail.gmail.com> but all the subsequent vote emails refer to an email with ID <3b87f507-8f9e-4ee3-af38-36e9f0f4b5b6@apache.org> which does not seem to exist. so that's why the find parent feature fails.

The list view doesn't have to do all this magic because it's "just" looking at all the emails from that month and sorting them by subject or references, so it can figure out what's up.
