You can find some more details about LDAP in the docs, and for the binddn it's optional with uid by default in Kyuubi.

ldap.binddn is not supported in Kyuubi yet. The feature is supported in HMS.

Thanks, I think just add two config property is not complex, But I don't have the environment for test, So sorry I cat't help.
And I'm not familiar about LDAP, but my understand about binddn is just define who can query the directoy, kyuubi dosn't need
the query behavior when authentication by using LDAP.
