Confusion on Replacing License Content with License Eye

Hello,

I am a bit confused on how to replace the license content of a project I am working on it. As I understand it, I need to place the original license header in the pattern field and have it be replaced with the new content as defined in the content field, but this does not seem to be working. Instead, the new header is prepended to the old header, instead of replacing it. As an example, I will attach two scratch files (the original configuration, and the replacement I want).
license-orig.txt
licenserc-post.txt
Am I misunderstanding the instructions in the README in some way?
