First of all, the 9.5 is the latest release, 8.4 was at least 2 years ago thing, I can't see much about it today. There are several things that may be helpful.
Then, from an official perspective, the showcase is the best way to get started. https://skywalking.apache.org/docs/skywalking-showcase/next/readme/. There are most things you need to do in the first preview run. |

I used apache-skywalking-apm-8.4.0 for my Sprong Boot example. I downloaded and run it through startup.sh under bin folder.
Here is my agent/config/agent.config shown below
Next I edited a configuration in vm shown below
-javaagent:C:\Users\USERNAME\Desktop\apache-skywalking-apm-bin\agent\skywalking-agent.jar -Dskywalking.agent.service_name=statistic-service-1 -Dskywalking.collector.backend_service="127.0.0.1:11800"I saw my app in current service and current instance but I couldn't see it underneath Service load and in Topology section
How can I fix the issue?
I hope you can help me.
Here is the resource I've used : https://segmentfault.com/a/1190000039836624/en
