To keep propagating the context(not just the trace ID), you need to see whether your RPC framework is supported. https://skywalking.apache.org/docs/skywalking-java/v9.0.0/en/setup/service-agent/java-agent/supported-list/. Or further on the optional page and activated manually. |

Hello everyone, I have a question.
I would like to know if it is possible to create and propagate traceID using just skywalking-java-agent(https://github.com/apache/skywalking-java). For example: When I have two services, service A and service B, service A will call service B. When accessing service A, will A->B generate the same traceId?
I tested it and found that the traceIDs generated by service A and service B are different. Is it a configuration problem or skywalking-java-agent simply cannot meet such a requirement. Is there any way to ensure the propagation of traceID without invading the code?
service A logs:
service B logs:
TID is different .
Can anyone help me answer this? Thanks
