The ability to define a specific symbology for polygon outline ("Stroke Color) has been removed from deck.gl Polygon in Superset version 6.0.0rc3.

This is a regression in Superset 6.0.0rc3: the stroke color ("polygon outline") control for deck.gl Polygon is still present in the codebase and should be available, but it no longer appears in the UI due to changes introduced in a major refactor (PR #34859). There are no feature flags or configuration conditions hiding it, and the control is still defined and wired up in both the control panel and the visualization logic. The disappearance is likely an unintended side effect of the refactor, not an intentional removal or deprecation. This issue has also been reported by other users and is being tracked as a regression (issue #34822).

Currently, there is no documented workaround to restore the stroke color control in the UI for 6.0.0rc3. If you need this feature, you may want to follow the linked issue for updates or consider temporarily using Superset 5.0.0 until the regression is fixed.

So both fill color AND stroke color are gone? Maybe @DamianPendrak knows the history here.

This regression is also observed for the "deck.gl GeoJson" module: the setting of the filling and outline colors disappears between version 5.0.0 and version 6.0.0rc4

I’m able to reproduce this on the latest master.
The deck.gl Polygon chart no longer exposes a stroke/outline color control.
I’d like to work on restoring this regression.

I’ve opened a PR that fixes the polygon stroke regression by ensuring lineWidth is only applied when Stroked is enabled.

PR: #36793

This restores the expected behavior from 5.x where disabling Stroked fully removes polygon outlines.
Happy to extend this approach to GeoJSON as well if that’s preferred.
